Halliburton Guyana Inc. is seeking suppliers to provide materials and spare parts for its fleet of Kenworth trucks and trailers, creating another procurement opportunity for local businesses supporting Guyana’s growing oil and gas sector.
The opportunity was published on June 17 through the Local Content Register. It calls for expressions of interest from qualified companies to supply and deliver materials and spares to Halliburton’s facility at Eccles, East Bank Demerara.

According to the notice, the scope of work covers the “Supply and delivery of Materials and Spares for Trailers and Kenworth Trucks to Halliburton Guyana Inc Office (Eccles Facility).”
The procurement exercise is aimed at identifying suppliers capable of supporting the maintenance and operation of equipment used in Halliburton’s local activities. The company is one of the largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry and has been operating in Guyana since 2015.

The notice states that interested companies must submit several documents as part of the expression of interest process. These include a “certificate of incorporation or equivalent registration documents, a Tax Identification Number (TIN) certificate, and proof of business registration.”
Suppliers are also required to provide a company presentation outlining their experience in the services being tendered. The presentation must be limited to a maximum of 10 slides.
Halliburton provides services throughout the energy value chain, including reservoir evaluation, drilling and production support.
The company is a key contractor supporting development activities in the Stabroek Block, where large-scale offshore production continues to expand.
