Halliburton Guyana is seeking companies to provide occupational and environmental monitoring services as it continues operations to serve Guyana’s oil and gas sector.
The oilfield services company published an expression of interest (EOI) on August 14 through the Local Content Register under the Health, Safety and Environment category.
The scope includes environmental and health evaluations and monitoring. Halliburton said the services are intended to ensure compliance with “Guyana’s regulations and the company’s own standards, while supporting health, safety, environmental protection and operational integrity”.

Interested companies must submit business registration and tax documents, a brief company presentation outlining relevant experience, and Halliburton’s completed supplier questionnaire by September 12.
The opportunity comes within Guyana’s broader workplace safety framework. The Occupational Safety and Health Act, Chapter 99:06, passed in 1997 and brought into force in 1999, provides for the regulation of industrial establishments and protection of workers from workplace safety and health hazards.
The Act places a general duty on employers to provide and maintain a safe, healthy and secure workplace, as far as reasonably practicable.
Halliburton provides services throughout the energy value chain, including reservoir evaluation, drilling and production support.
In Guyana, the company is among the international service providers supporting development activities in the Stabroek Block, where large-scale offshore production continues to expand.
