Halliburton Guyana is seeking industrial support services for its onshore and offshore operations, opening an expression of interest for companies capable of providing welding, fabrication and related maintenance work in support of its energy services business.
In a notice published on the government’s Local Content Register on June 24, Halliburton Guyana said the scope includes welding, fabrication, machining, bolt extraction and replacement, and corrosion maintenance for trucks, hydraulic components, steel structures, skids, compressors, engines, and tanks.

The work is tied to Halliburton’s Production Solutions category, and to be considered, companies must submit a certificate of incorporation or equivalent, a tax identification number (TIN) certificate, business registration documents, and a company presentation outlining experience in the services being offered. Halliburton is also requiring vendors to return a completed request for information (RFI) Excel document along with the expression of interest.
According to the company, the process is aimed at identifying vendors with the technical and business capacity to support its industrial maintenance and fabrication needs as activity in Guyana’s oil and gas sector continues to expand.
Halliburton provides services throughout the energy value chain, including reservoir evaluation, drilling and production support.
