MODEC is working with Guyanese suppliers to strengthen their bids for offshore procurement opportunities as the company continues to expand its engagement with the Request for Information (RFI) process.

The Centre for Local Business Development (CLBD) announced the initiative in a June 10 post, inviting local businesses to participate in an upcoming virtual RFI clarification session aimed at strengthening supplier readiness for submissions linked to opportunities advertised between December 2025 and May 2026.

“The session will focus on MODEC’s RFI submission expectations. This is aimed at helping suppliers strengthen their EOI submissions. Thereafter, a question-and-answer segment will be facilitated related to the RFI process,” CLBD stated.

The session is scheduled for June 26 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Suppliers are encouraged to submit questions in advance to ensure they are addressed comprehensively during the session.
