Schlumberger in search of company in Guyana for major building project

US oilfield services company, Schlumberger, is seeking a company in Guyana to supply and install foundation components for a shared Wireline and Drilling and Measurements Calibration Building.

The contractor will be required to perform the supply and installation of the 40′ x 120′ calibration building foundation and surrounding heavy aggregate pavement. The foundation includes slabs, grade beams, footings, and test pits for the facility, which is located at Houston Port in Georgetown.

The company said the bid package will be issued September 10, 2020 and is expected to be awarded by September 30, 2020.

Schlumberger provides technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production and processing in the oil and gas industry, and has been a service provider to ExxonMobil Guyana in support of its Stabroek Block operations.
