To tap into the buzz around the ongoing Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo, Sispro Inc. – the Guyanese company that was awarded two blocks in the recent auction – launched its Vendor Registration Portal.

Sispro said the portal will enable firms to submit expressions of interest to provide products and services to the company.

Sispro Chairwoman, Dr. Melissa Varswyk said the company is committed to attracting top-tier operators and vendors to contribute to the development of Guyana’s hydrocarbon resources. “While we welcome international expertise, we place a strong emphasis on nurturing our local content capacity,” Varswyk said. “We strongly encourage local vendors and suppliers to seize this opportunity and collaborate with us, as we aspire to see our local companies grow and thrive alongside our global partners.”

The group was awarded Blocks D2 and S3 in the Guyana basin. It hopes to begin exploration by the end of the second quarter of 2024.
