ExxonMobil and NBA® All-Star Anthony Davis, announced on Tuesday a new partnership. Davis, one of the top players in the NBA, will play a leading role in the Mobil 1TM brand marketing campaign, helping to highlight the latest products and innovations.

Davis will star in the new national advertising campaign for Mobil 1 Annual Protection, which provides drivers proven protection for 20,000 miles between oil changes, ensuring less money and time is spent changing motor oil. Hitting screens in April, the latest set of commercials will see Davis star in a series of advertising spots highlighting the benefits of Mobil 1 Annual Protection.

Davis will follow in the footsteps of basketball Hall-of-Famer Dikembe Mutombo, who memorably appeared in the spots alongside Kevin Harvick in 2017. Davis will participate in upcoming campaigns, promotions, endorsements and content on behalf of the Mobil 1 brand.

I hope everyone enjoys our new commercials – they will certainly raise some eyebrows.”

The announcement of the partnership with Davis continues a journey that began in 2016 when ExxonMobil was first announced as the Official Motor Oil of the NBA in both the United States and China. This relationship was heavily leveraged in the inaugural marketing campaign for Mobil 1 Annual Protection in 2017.
