“Production of 261.1 million barrels of crude oil,” was recorded for 2025, Singh said during the budget presentation.

Average production from the Stabroek Block stood at just under 830,000 barrels per day (b/d) for the year.

According to Dr. Singh, the Liza Destiny produced an average of about 134,300 b/d, while Liza Unity averaged roughly 249,500 b/d. The Prosperity vessel recorded an average production of around 255,200 b/d. The ONE GUYANA FPSO, which started production during the year, averaged just under 191,000 b/d in the second half of 2025.

“Guyana has emerged as a key global contributor since production began at the Stabroek Block,” Singh said.

The Stabroek Block is operated by ExxonMobil, which holds a 45% stake. Hess owns 30%, while CNOOC holds the remaining 25%. The Stabroek Block’s estimated resource base is now 11.6 billion barrels of recoverable resources.
