MODEC has partnered with STEMGuyana to support its Learning Pods initiative, ensuring continued access to after-school education in Math, Science, English, and Technology for children in underserved communities.
MODEC has pledged GYD$2,788,041 to fund the program in 2025. This support will sustain two learning pods following the conclusion of a three-year agreement with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The funding will directly benefit students at the Paramakatoi Learning Pod in Region 8 and the Women of Substance Learning Pod in Region 2.
