Petrobras has an 80% working interest in the Aram block, and its partner China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has 20%.
On March 17, Petrobras announced that the well is still being drilled and the hydrocarbon-bearing interval has been detected through wireline loggings, gas shows, and fluid sampling.
Petrobras stated that these findings will undergo laboratory analysis to assess their potential and guide further exploratory activities. The consortium will continue drilling to the planned final depth and evaluate the reservoir conditions.
