Guyana International Petroleum Exhibition and Summit (GIPEX) 2018 Platinum Sponsor GTT, a telecommunications service provider in Guyana, says it is ready to deliver on “the every need of the oil and gas sector” in the South American country and beyond.
“The infrastructure of any industry is crucial for the development and implementation of a sustainable plan. In Guyana the energy sector is growing rapidly and now more than ever an evaluation of the supporting infrastructure is needed to ensure sustainable progress and efficient management of natural and human resources,” CEO, Justin Nedd told OilNOW at the weekend.
The telecommunications company, which has been operating in Guyana for 27 years, recently launched its fibre optic high speed internet service – Blaze. “This is the infrastructure that will give the burgeoning energy sector in Guyana unparalleled success: with sub-sea cable connectivity and full network redundancy, just the kind of infrastructural support the energy sector needs to maximize resource capabilities,” the CEO said.
The company vows to “do more” in association with its parent company ATN International, by bringing advanced services to the underserved. With this mission GTT says it will continue to be at the heart of the communities it serve by bringing world-class technology to Guyana, igniting the explosion of the energy sector and creating local and international impact.
“GTT’s status as the preferred technology provider for the oil and Gas industry in Guyana at the GIPEX event highlights the company’s readiness and ability to deliver on the every need of the oil and gas industry locally or internationally,” Nedd said.
GIPEX 2018 is envisioned to engage domestic, regional and international stakeholders in the
