The ONE GUYANA floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel is expected to arrive in Guyana in the second quarter of 2025. So says ExxonMobil Guyana President, Alistair Routledge, speaking at a November 12 steel strike ceremony for the Jaguar FPSO in Georgetown.
The event marked the commencement of fabrication work by three Guyanese companies, in support of the Jaguar FPSO. The three companies—ZECO, InFab and Guyana Oil & Gas Support Services Inc. (GOGSSI)—also fabricated steel for the ONE GUYANA FPSO.
“That vessel will set sail for Guyana and arrive here in the second quarter of next year, where it will be installed and commissioned, and made ready for startup,” Routledge said.
He said ExxonMobil anticipates going to Singapore in January for the naming ceremony and christening of the vessel before it sets sail.
The ONE GUYANA FPSO will target around 250,000 barrels of oil per day (b/d). The addition of the ONE GUYANA vessel will raise ExxonMobil’s total crude production capacity in Guyana above 900,000 b/d.
With its startup, Guyana will become the world’s largest per capita producer of oil, at more than a barrel per capita.
