Halliburton Guyana Inc. has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the procurement, construction, and commissioning of a new Baroid laboratory, as the company continues to expand its onshore footprint in the country.
The EOI, published recently, invites vendors to support the delivery of a fully functional, containerized laboratory facility. The scope includes design, fabrication, delivery, installation, integration, and testing to provide a turnkey operational lab to support Halliburton’s operations in Guyana.

Interested companies are required to submit company registration documents, a summary presentation outlining relevant experience, and a completed Request for Information supplier questionnaire. Submissions must be sent electronically, with the email subject containing the tender name, by February 15, 2026.
Halliburton has been expanding its operations in Guyana since entering the market in 2015. This includes the development of what it has described as one of the largest mud plants in the hemisphere.
The company provides key products and services to the local oil and gas sector, including directional drilling, drilling fluids, cementing, completion services, reservoir evaluation, stimulation, wireline logging, drill bits, and oilfield chemical solutions. Halliburton is also a prime contractor to ExxonMobil, the operator of Guyana’s Stabroek Block.
