JHI Associates Incorporated, holder of a 17.5% stake in the Canje Block offshore Guyana, donated GY$10 million to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) in support of its national flood relief efforts on Tuesday. The donation was made through Guyana Logistics and Support Services Inc. (GLASS).

Operations Manager of GLASS, Mr. Vincent Troy Singh, handed over the funds to Lieutenant Colonel Kester Craig, Director General of the CDC, who lauded the contribution from the company.

The CDC continues to receive support from the business community, including several oil and gas companies, aimed at providing relief to the flood impacted areas across the South American country.
