DAI supports flood relief efforts in Guyana

Local and international employees of development company DAI donated 70 hampers consisting of food and hygiene products to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) in Guyana on Friday. The products, such as rice, sugar, hand soap, sanitary napkins and other items, were provided through a fundraiser led by the DAI Sustainable Business Group’s Racial Social Justice Initiative (RSJI).

Receiving the items was CDC’s Public Information Officer, Patrice Wishart, who expressed gratitude for the contribution.

The Private Sector, locally and abroad, continues to support the National Flood Response in the South American country.

DAI Global, LLC in collaboration with ExxonMobil affiliate Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Ltd. established the Centre for Local Business Development in 2017 to assist small- and medium-sized Guyanese businesses with building their capacity and improving their competitiveness in a range of sectors that serve the oil and gas and other industries.
