Saipem secures US$500 Million in offshore Saudi Arabia contracts from Aramco

Saipem has secured two contracts from Aramco worth a total of US$500 million, the Italian company announced on Monday. 

The first project involves the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of a 42-inch crude trunkline, approximately 50 kilometers long, for the Abu Safa field.

The second project focuses on production maintenance programs for the Berri and Manifa offshore fields. Specific details of the contracts were not disclosed. 

Saipem has a longstanding relationship with Aramco, having signed a 12-year deal in 2020 for onshore engineering and construction. From 2021 to 2023, Saipem recorded annual orders from Aramco valued at US$1.63 billion.
