Suppliers are expected to provide monthly preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, consumables management, technical support, and reporting services. Contractors would also be required to respond to maintenance requests within one hour and manage incidents through a tracking system.
The company stated that the selected supplier would be responsible for “device health checks, functional testing, print quality maintenance, and identification of parts nearing end-of-life.”
The RFI also requires suppliers to manage toner, paper, maintenance kits, and replacement parts to ensure uninterrupted printer operations.
EMGL said the process is intended to help the company refine requirements for a future Request for Proposals while identifying qualified bidders in advance.
“If a supplier is exploring potential partnership options for qualification to perform a scope of work, it is not mandatory that a formal legal partnership has been established,” the company noted.
