EMGL’s RFI solicits a contractor proficient in capturing high-resolution aerial video and photographs of the onshore pipeline infrastructure supporting the project. The collected imagery, it said, will likely serve various purposes, including project documentation, monitoring, and potentially for promotional or informational materials.

The installation of the pipeline is expected to cost US$1 billion.

The US-based partnership CH4/Lindsayca will be constructing the plant facility at Wales, on the West Bank of the Demerara River for US$759 million. This aspect is being handled by the government of Guyana. It also gave Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) a US$159 million contract to develop transmission lines and substations.

GtE is touted as the most transformational project in Guyana’s history. It is already moving apace with construction shaping up at the Wales site. All aspects are expected to be delivered by 2025.
